Questions about the content or a technical issue are separate from a request for a real record. Current custody, release, bond, booking photos, and court files must be handled by the government office that maintains them.

This is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post a bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the appropriate records custodian directly for those services.

Choose the Record Holder

Use the county booking and roster material for a Johnston County custody question, the court for a filed case or certified disposition, and the state or federal system only when the person's custody has moved there.

  • For a county booking record, roster limit, or photo request, start with the Johnston County records path.

Court and Other Custody Routes
